a spontaneous saturday afternoon spent in the mission as follows:
after bleaching my hair to oblivion yesterday, I met up with jaime at missioncheese which is still totally doing it for me in every way (monger’s plate!!).

two glasses of rosé later, we walked over to birite market where I decided to risk carrying home a pint of locally made brown sugar ice cream (thankfully, it made it!).

then on our way to the train, we were lured into viracocha and seriously felt like we had just entered through the wardrobe to a completely different time, country, etc. one of the wildest boutiques I’ve been to in the mission, it’s definitely giving paxton gate a run for its money. a lending library, typewriters, feathered jewelry, a cat lounging in a red bath tub, live music, potions and powders abound. see for yourself next time you’re wondering down valencia.

to top it all off, prior to parting ways we made one last stop at ritual for lattes, snooty barista chat, and to contemplate purchasing one of their newly updated radical california state tote bags (with a heftier $25 price tag).
it was the best use of two hours I’ve had to spare in a long, long time.

this is where I spent a good three hours yesterday afternoon. while it rained and poured outside, jaime, laurie and I enjoyed large glasses of rosé inside the cozy little space that is mission cheese. I’m a little obsessed with it right now. or maybe I’m just obsessed with cheese.
