another sunday afternoon filled with poached eggs and boozy goodness at dear mom. this is beginning to become a habit.

it was a weekend of eating. and more eating. and some drinking. and then some more eating.
friday night I took my little cousin out to fancy hipster lesbian pizza, aka: pizzaiolo. we didn’t have any reservations and after an hour wait, got seated at the bar. the two overpriced cocktails I enjoyed and the nettles & pecorino pie were as usual, absurdly tasty.

saturday afternoon, jaime and I decided to brave the notoriously long waits and the freezing temperatures of the outer sunset, and following an hour wait, grabbed a late lunch at outerlands. totally worth it. I think.

following an afternoon of boozin it with the ladies in the city, I stopped at homeroom before heading home to pick up some mac & cheese to go for jay and I. I’ve been preparing myself for the day, but have yet to tire of their super cheesy and surprisingly affordable noodle bowls.

finally at around three o’clock on sunday, after scouring our kitchen and realizing the only contents to be found included some almost flat soda water, expired milk, and two satsumas; I decided to drive back over the bridge and finally check out the fogcutter pop-up at dear mom. yes, eating late brunch by yourself at a hipster dive bar may not sound like the funnest way to spend a sunday afternoon but honestly, I regret nothing.
sometimes weekends that evolve around what you’re eating are the best kind.

wednesday highlights:
watched a super good episode of regis & kelly before work, in which regis shared some big news- yesterday he received an invite to be a contestant on dancing with the stars!! now that, I might actually tune in for.
enjoyed a super delicious sharp cheddar grilled cheese stuffed with slices of pink lady apples from the ebbetts food truck.
received several compliments on my ever evolving hair color which currently is kind of a strange strawberry blond shade, not my fave but I’m happy to be told it looks nice.
against my better judgment, during my afternoon walk, gave in and tried out the new coconut mocha frappuccino from starbucks. and it RULED.
am now about to rock the feck out with jay. rock band released a new foo fighters 4-pack yesterday which is obviously awesome. hellz yesss.
