finally got to see my favorite band from new zealand play for the first time last night. so fun, so epic. the bats forever and ever. 

currently limited to an extremely small release but crossing my fingers for a much a wider run. 

p.s. the dvd comes out next TUESDAY!

having just learned that stupid alexa chung owns several pairs of my beloved karen walker northern lights sunglasses I’ve only day dreamed of having in my possession, I find myself now only wanting them more. thanks a lot alexa.

oh saturday: spent the afternoon in the city getting my hair did, met up with a bestie for high tea & drinks at the rotunda at neiman marcus - just as snooty and fabulous as it sounds, and finally selected and confirmed our home in berlin for when we visit in october. and guys, I am more than just a little bit excited.

it’s been a pretty brutal last few days. I’ve been seriously trying hard to think of things that will make me smile, laugh, anything… and the only thing I can think of is this scene from bridesmaids. I can’t believe it’s the only thing I can think of but whatever, I’ll take it.

the last thing I needed was another tote bag. yet as of two minutes ago, this bad boy officially became mine. after coveting my friend’s for over a year, I finally decided to take the $26 plunge (that includes shipping & handling btw).

the long awaited beach boyz n the hood tees are finally coming! beginning next friday, oakland surf club will be joining forces with the amazing bay area illustrator justin hager by releasing t-shirts and skateboards featuring this rad graphic. the first batch should be hot off the presses for oakland’s first friday party on june 7th.
